Ying did not get baptised in March because her boss would not let her off work on Sunday night. However, the Lord had a better plan. Ying was baptized on Easter Sunday at a sunrise service. Her obedience blessed many. Here is what Sharon said in an email, “ It was amazing to see Ying share her testimony. She’s always quiet and reserved, and doesn’t know enough English to carry on a conversation, but she understands a lot. She is the one we’d been praying for last fall. After a very bad family situation last fall she had decided to leave KC and go to Chicago or New York but then she changed her mind, and now she’s baptized !! Her family situation back in China was bad … as her testimony states ‘I didn’t trust anyone, my heart was filled with hate…I came to the US to earn a lot of money….in the midst of my difficulties, I met many Christians … ChingYu shared the gospel with me and I understood pel with me and I understood there is only one true God…I no longer hate people because I know that God loves everyone…I wish to share God’s gospel with people….’ WOW!
